Today
is indeed an auspicious day for MACIM.
In the morning we will conduct the 'Graduation
Ceremony" for Postgraduate Diplomat's for the
year 2001, and in the evening we will be hosting
"The Chartered Marketer" dinner. We have
asked the Graduates and Chartered Marketers to
jointly celebrate their achievement in their
respective professional accolade.
The
conclusion of the 2002 World Cup saw Brazil
carrying home the coveted challenge trophy. The
success of this team was due to their resilience,
skills, good game plan and most importantly their
single mindedness to win. The Brazilians also took
more shots at their opponents' goal than the team
that they played with during this world cup
tournament and also succeeded in scoring in every
game they played.
Graduates
and Chartered Marketers, we urge you to make a
similar commitment with concerted effort towards
developing and enhancing your firms' competitive
advantage.
In
today's market environment, it is no longer
possible for a firm to shelter behind
protectionist barriers or preferential access to
cheap resource - whether they be raw material,
energy or labour. When international trade and
production penetrate all significant economy, the
only long-term protection is a comparable level of
competitiveness.
Draw
on your professional know how, experience,
expertise, and also this network of Professional
Marketers.
